this book DAYS OF DARKNESS TO REDEMPTION is a continuation of my previous book HOW THIS BOY MADE IT AT AGE 15. In this book, I reminisce the period of time after I dropped out of school and the Singapore National Bodybuilding Squad.
   This book was written by me when I was serving my liability in national service. At that point of time, I felt that I needed a direction and purpose in life. Those who have read my first book would have known that my teenage years was a struggle, lingering back and forth between the secret society and illegal businesses. At that point of time when I wrote this book, I was already 25 years old. I was many years behind people of the same age as me. Usually at the age of 25, many would have started their career, graduated from school or some more impressive ones would have already made their first pot of gold! But deep in my heart, I knew I wanted to be something different, I wanted to take the path less travelled. A path that many would rather leave unexplored. But I knew I was different, my life experiences were different from many other people and I felt that I have a different purpose in life.
   
   While I was serving my days in NS before I started writing, I thought of what I can and what I wanted to do. Then, in a moment of impulse, I took out a stack of A4 paper and I started writing my story and that was when it all started. The reason of wanting to publish my story 
was due to the experiences that I had in the past. I know that apart from me, there are many other lost souls out there in the society, facing crossroads in life, not knowing what's right for them. Having experience the days of darkness, I have great empathy for this group of people in our society; I felt that I wanted to contribute to the society by guiding them and adding value to their lives. Ideally, being an inspiration, thus guiding them back to the straight and narrow.
   For those of you who have not read my first book, my first book was about my early teenage days when I joined the secret society and how I ended up in the Singapore Boys' Home. From there on, I met many elder boys in the Boys' Home who were bigger and bulkier than I was. Being inspired and motivated by them, I set high goals for myself to build up my body. Back then, we were not allowed to officially train in the Boys' Home due to rumours that in the past, there were boys who bulk up after training and eventually went on to create havoc and beat up the warrants in the Boys' Home. I made use of everything around me to train despite being restricted and I manage obtain my desired shape. Being an inexperienced greenhorn after being allowed to be set on probation, I went for my first bodybuilding contest. My guts coupled with hardworking and luck eventually led me to become the Singapore youngest National Team Bodybuilder at the age of 15-the youngest ever in Singapore bodybuilding history.
 
   However, due to bad influences, I dropped out of school and the Bodybuilding federation at the age of 16 and started to pick up odd jobs while joining my elder brother who was also a gang member. This book talks about the days after I stop bodybuilding and joined the secret the society with my elder brother. At the age of 17, I ran illegal prostitution business. I went on to corrupt prostitution money, commit robbery and did illegal drug dealing. Afterwards, I also took up jobs such as illegal moneylenders (Loan Shark). Then for some reasons which you will find out later as you read on, I became a source of conflict within my gang and concurrently, I became targeted and wanted by the Police and MINDEF and I eventually when on fugitive in Malaysia. Finally, I left my gang and broke contact with my brother due to the many conflicts I had with my triad. For many months, I struggled through while still being placed on the wanted list. Subsequently I was brought to justice and I was sentenced. During that period of time, a few miraculous events occurred which totally changed my live. Those few incidences were the most imperative turning point in my live that carved me into who I am today. To find out, read on~
